The New Space

This architecturally and acoustically stunning space is fitting to our musical heritage, and a tremendous legacy to future generations of students

-Professor Michael Burden, Fellow & Tutor in Music at New ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ

The New Space is an intimate venue situated in the heart of Oxford specialising in chamber and instrumental music, early music and song. The repertoire of the hall extends from contemporary jazz through to music of the renaissance.

Music has been central to the foundation of New ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ in 1379, and the choir and choir school persist to this day. New ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ’s musical culture today is livelier than ever, and the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is host to the New ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Music Society, New Chamber Opera and a wide array of professional and student music. Now with the addition of the New Space the ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ can continue to deliver music making of an exceptional quality.

Keep up to date with what's on at the New Space.
